The project chosen is -

Project 3.
St. Kiseege School, Namwenda
Pupils 400, Teachers 11. Clases P1 to P7
When school is rebuilt, it will have 7 classrooms, and 850 pupils!

What do we plan to do?
The Uganda 2006 Kamuli Expedition Team have committed to help build a new school. Our commitment is to

1.    Build a 3 classroom block, with an office, all in brick to the local government standards for school.

2.    Build a 5 stance toilet, in brick to the local government standards for schools.

The above will cost in the region of £10,000 to £12,000, including desks, chairs and fittings.

This is conditional on the local district council, building

3.    2 off double classroom block

4.    5 Stance toilet block

This will mean that the school will be fully built, with 7 classrooms, and will be capable of teaching 850 pupils.

This is the only brick building, which is very small, and only has 1/2 a roof.

The main classroom block - even this needs repairs!
